Jessica’s path wasn't linear. With a background in business and a deep-seated entrepreneurial spirit, she sought to create something that merged clinical precision with artistic expression. When the world paused in 2020, Jessica saw an opportunity to finally build the foundation of what would become Shape & Shade.
Evolution Through Intention
Starting with permanent makeup, her fascination with the skin’s canvas naturally evolved. She mastered the delicate art of fine-line tattoos—style characterized by its subtle, sophisticated permanence. This growth soon expanded into curated ear piercings and a comprehensive education program designed to elevate the industry standard.
A Softer Perspective
The studio was born from a desire to move away from the traditional, often intimidating tattoo shop environment. Jessica believes in soft transitions, intentional studio experiences, and a welcoming atmosphere where clients feel seen and cared for throughout their transformation.
